Son of a ... (Apple Division)

Updated my iphone to 4.2.1 and all of my music "disappeared" from the ipod app. I could still see 2,400+ songs in the About area, so I knew it was still there.

This is a bug and the only fix for it is actually pretty neat and works just fine. It takes a few minutes with bigger libraries.

Just in case that site is down, here is the fix (from Griga):

• Tap on “Settings” and then on “General” and then on “International”
• Change your Language to another option, for example if your default is English, change it to Francais
• Relaunch the iPod app and wait for the iPod library to update
• Your music has returned, navigate back to Language settings and revert back to English (or your default)

Gran Turismo 5 has a feature where you can create a driver and have the game race him for you. One of the best parts of this B-spec mode is that you can pick from randomly generated names for your driver. Some of them are famous and some are funny.

Heard this for the first time today.

 

Been playing Yakuza 3 on my ps3 a lot lately. What the trailer above doesn't show you is that the first part of the game is heavily weighted towards being a "Running an orphanage" simulator and less of an ass kicking crime story. All kidding aside, there are some great things in this game, like the ability to watch a set of cut scenes from the first two games. Although I still don't understand the ripping off of shirts prior to each boss fight, I am having fun with it and am eagerly awaiting Yakuza 4 being released in March.
